Forestry in Indo-Pak has been used for nearly two decades on more or less on clinical collections. But the sources of Pakistan Woods are restricted and the region has to transfer wood and wooden products. These days, there is developing need for wooden due to industrialization, improve in populace development with developing normal for living and better atmosphere. Therefore, M.Sc Forestry Expansion looks into concerns of source destruction, affect of reducing sources on non-urban areas, bio-diversity, international that you are, and features the aspects which guide to change, both designed and natural. The factor of extension in the control of woodlands and hardwood source is becoming progressively more important. It is being acknowledged by the foresters and other experts included in the forestry and atmosphere groups. At present not a single organization in the region is providing Forestry Expansion application at postgraduate level. Allama Iqbal Start Higher education, Islamabad is therefore, the leader in this respect to offer this application. Objectives: The common targets of this application area as follows: 1). To produce increased knowing of the factor of woodlands and hardwood in the situation of shifting atmosphere. 2). To obtain durability in farming forestry and other non-urban area uses. 3). To produce strategies which improve the engagement of areas in extension process for woodlands and other natural source control and for their own progression. 4). To produce knowing of the established strategies. 5). To produce linkage with other corporations like woodlands assignments etc.
Admission Requirements:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. Forestry Degree at least 2nd division or B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture or M.Sc (Hons) Agriculture degree with at least 2nd division from National, International recognized Institutions or B.Sc / M.Sc in Botany having 2nd division with 3 years field experience in Forestry.
Selection Process:
a) Admission to new students will be given only once a year.
b) Application for admission will be invited through national press.
c) Applications will be received on prescribed application forms.
d) Selection of the candidates in MSc Forestry Extension program will be made strictly on the basis of merit against a limited number of seats.
e) Only selected candidates will be informed about their admission.
f) The selected students will be required to pay the dues by the prescribed
date

Workshop:
Workshop is a compulsory component of the program and provides an opportunity to the students to discuss issues raised in the courses as well as in research. The workshop for a course will be conducted at the end of semester; the duration of the workshop will be 2-3 days for each course depending on the content
Thesis:
MSc degree shall be awarded on submission of dissertation preferably based upon the original work.
