Directorate of Staff Development in its efforts for quality education in public schools has introduced continuous professional development (CPD_ Framework in all 36 districts of the Punjab. under this programme, District Teacher Educators visit primary Schools and provide on the spot mentoring regarding identified difficult areas of teaching. They facilitate PSTs for effective teaching help prepare students for PEC exam through monthly assessments. Their job has got significance due to the practical input they give in the field.
