Khairpur: Academic staff of the Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) on Wednesday continued its protest against the policies adopted by Vice Chancellor Dr Nilofer Shaikh.

Teachers associated with Shah Abdul Latif University Teachers' Association (SALUTA) took out a procession from Department of Economics to the VC office where they staged a sit-in for two hours. They were carrying banners inscribed with their demands.

Earlier, speaking at a meeting on Monday evening, SALUTA president Dr Abdul Majeed Chandio, accused the vice-chancellor of behaving like a bureaucrat and her partial attitude had compelled them to lodge a protest against her.
