The issue of human rights in Pakistan is a hot issue these days wobbling all the sections of the society in general and top echelons of the state in particular. Mr. John, a foreigner, visited his friend Mr. Sheraz here in Pakistan on a personal visit. Both Mr. John and Mr. Sheraz held a comprehensive discussion on the issue of violation of human rights over a cup of tea in the evening. Mr. John asserted that Pakistan has no measures and mechanism that can guarantee the human rights. Mr. Sheraz negated Mr. John by referring to the guarantees that democracy offers to the masses by a precisely defined mechanism.
Question: Discuss and elaborate the stance of Mr. Sheraz on the basis of concrete facts as discussed in the lecturers on the issue under discussion.
