Ingredients:
Chicken breast 200 grams, ginger/garlic paste 1 tsp, eggs 2, soya sauce 1 tbsp, refined flour 1/2 cup, sweet soda 1 pinch, salt and black pepper to taste, sesame oil 1/4 tsp, oil for frying.
Method:
. Cut chicken breasts into long, thin strips.
. Marinate chicken in ginger/garlic, salt, black pepper, soya sauce and sesame oil and set aside.
. In a separate bowl make a thick mixture with refined flour, eggs, salt, black pepper, sweet soda and water.
. Heat oil in a wok dip chicken pieces in flour mixture and fry chicken pieces one by one.
. When the pieces turn golden put them on paper towels.
. Serve delicious chicken tempura hot with your favourite sauce.
