Virtual University of Pakistan is pleased to announce scholarships from Spring, 2011 semester to its regular students registered for the following degree programs.

(i) All 4-year BS programs
(ii) MCS,MIT & MBA (3.5 year only)

The University is awarding Scholarships on:

a) Merit Based
b) Need cum Merit Based

Merit Based Scholarships
v Students will NOT apply for the Merit Scholarships.
v The University will prepare separate merit lists for newly admitted students as well as for continuing students.
v Scholarships will be entitled to Top three students of each degree program provided they fulfill all requirement mentioned in the rules and regulations of Merit Scholarships.
v Merit Lists will be presented to Management Committee for approval.
v Merit Lists will be displayed at LMS.
v Please note that scholarship given is valid for one semester only.

Need Based Scholarships
v Students will apply online for the need based scholarship.
v The university will verify all the contents given by the students.
v During verification, students might be asked to provide evidences of certain contents provided by the students in the application.
v After verification of the contents, separate lists will be prepared for Newly Admitted students as well as for continuing student.
v Merit lists will be presented to Management Committee which will decide the number of students and amount of scholarship to each student.
v Please note that scholarship given is valid for one semester only.
