With the fall of the communist Russia, the world has entered a new phase of history. The old world order with its long struggle between U. S. S. R. and U. S. A. to dominate the world is dead and gone. The united states of America interprets the fall of communist Russia as a triumph of its political and economic systems. What is refuses to see is that the disintegration of soviet union was primarily the result of its own internal and external policies. The failure of these policies does not necessarily prove the superiority of capitalism. However, it must be admitted that at present America is the only super power in the world. Apparently there is no country in the world which can effectively challenge America, s supremacy at the present moment. everything is going in America, s way. It has the mightiest military machine in the world. It has largest arsenal of most advanced and lethal nuclear weapons. America has got control of the united nations and uses its name to legitimize its political policies and military adventures as the will of the civilized world. The world Bank no longer tries to project itself as an international organization with the sole purpose of helping and guiding the smaller nation. Now it dose not help or advise but dictates in the most insolent manner. America is using it to impose its economic system on the world. The world Trade Organization is encroaching upon the sovereignty of smaller nations. It is doing so on the pretext of promoting free trade in the free world. America has the world where it wants it to be in its stranglehold. This is the new world order. You may not like it but there is pretty you can do about it . America is very much conscious of its power to create a better and safer world, the war-weary and poverty ridden people of the world have gladly acknowledged it as a savior and liberator. But all the events of the past few years clearly prove that America dose not wish to rise above its selfish interests. Its too loud and exaggerated concern for human rights is not genuine. Its so-called crusade against tyranny aggression is motivated by its will to enslave the entire world. Saddam Hussain of Iraq is not only bully in the world, and nor was Hitler the last of rabid racists. The ethnic cleansing in Bosnia is going on under the very nose of America. Why dose not raise its little finger to stop it? Because the victims are Muslims and not Jews or Christian bombs.
