For this project Zuckerberg established connectivity Lab. Facebook's connectivity Lab is working on various options that can be used to provide internet in all over the world, some of the option are still in the discussion for example, using solar powered drones to transmit internet to surburban areas through satellite and developing laser beam to boost up the internet speed.
