PTA decided to use the electronic auction for ensure the transparency and stop the illegal co-operations.


Pakistan telecommunication authority planed to grow up with electronic auction of 3G and 4G license. Reporting to the news paper PTA said, The electronic auction will help to stop illegal co-operation and ensure the transparency, Further they said, the identity of the bidders will not be revealed and telecom operators will be awarded to colors and codes to place in their bid. Electronic bidding have a global standard, even India ha started before to use electronic auction to distribute3G licenses. Telecom operators have already started to provide 3G services and many of the users experienced the high speed internet on their mobile phones.
3G and 4G auction will set to be held April 23rd, 2014.
