Eligibility Criteria

All first year / first semester students of 4-year BS / B.Sc programs (Academic Session 2013-2014) who have secured 60% or above marks in last annual exam in case of annual examination system OR 70% or above marks in last exam in case of semester system
All first year / first semester students of 2-year Master Degree Program (Academic Session 2013-2014) who have secured 60% or above marks in last annual exam in case of annual examination system OR 70% or above marks in last exam in case of semester system
Fresh Enrolled Students of MS/M.Phil degree programs (Academic Session 2013-2014)
Students of 4-year BS degree programs, 2-year master degree program who have improved their results and secured 60% marks in the last examination in case of Annual Examination system or 70% marks in last exam in case of semester system. In case of completion of degree (last exam) aggregated %age marks will be considered for selection of students.
Following will not be eligible for award of laptops

Students who are doing any kind of job (public as well as private)
Students who have earlier received laptops in previous schemes
Foreign Nationals except students from Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Indian Occupied Kashmir
Note: The students whose names have already been included in Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme and they are in queue for getting the laptop are NOT ELIGIBLE for this scheme

How to Apply

If you are eligible according to above mentioned criteria, download the Performa from university website (Coming Soon)
Submit the filled proforma along with required documents in your department
Applicant will also have to submit an undertaking on stamp paper of Rs.20 stating that he/she have not obtained the laptop in previous phases and he/she is not doing any job and his/her name is not included in the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme
