    WiFi a Sufficient Wireless Connection:

WiFi is sufficient for wireless connection and there is no any other wireless technology better than it. Actually WiFi refers to the technology that enables two or more computers or devices to share data and resources via a wireless connection. Millions of people around the world are using this technology with different devices like Laptops, PCs, PDAs, Games, Printers, mp3 players, Cameras and mobile phones among many other devices that have the spectacular wireless technology incorporated into their features.

    Comparison with other Wireless Technologies:

A new technology Wi-Max also has been developed separately from WiFi and it has been designed for long range networking as opposed to local area wireless networking. Wi-Max will have advantage that we have much less risk of interference with other networks around but it's slower than WiFi. If there are no tons of WiFi networks around then WiFi is probably the best option. WiFi is used within the home or business for local devices connectivity. Wi-Max uses licensed or unlicensed spectrum to deliver connection to a network, in most cases the internet. On the other hand WiFi uses unlicensed spectrum to provide access to a local network. So WiFi is more suitable and popular in end user devices.
