There are number of ethical considerations which a social researcher has to face while conducting the study. It is the ultimate responsibility of the principal researcher to protect the rights and provide safety to the subject. The ethical dilemma emerges when researcher needs to collect data from the “vulnerable group”. The members of the vulnerable group are people who are financially disadvantaged, children, people with cognitive or emotional disabilities, or people who are terminally ill. It is a legal responsibility of the researcher to provide the financial compensation to poor people for their participation in study, or take informed consent from the parents of children or from the guardians of the emotionally disabled people.View more random threads:
